Clinical Presentation
The clinical presentation of degenerative spondylolisthesis typically includes one or a number of the following signs and symptoms:
- Lumbar radiculopathy (most often correlates with symptoms of nerve impingement at L4-L5, and sometimes L3-L4)
- Neurogenic claudication
- Pain that is exacerbated by extension or standing up straight
- Pain that is alleviated with flexion to open the canal size or sitting down
